Securing credit with a leading bank can is a critical activity for any small business and it is often the beginning of a long, multi-product relationship. Any barriers in that process - from the need to visit a branch or multi back-and-forth due to incomplete information - can lead to frustrations and ultimately the loss of a potential client.
To solve this, and to prepare for the launch of a new, digital adjudication platform, BMO leverage the FormHero Smart Form platform to rapidly develop and launch a unified, omni-channel application experience that could service both the current PDF workflow and the upcoming digital experience. Within two months, the entire user-journey was built, branded and launched for self-serve, in-branch and call center based applications. Supporting both English and French, the form automatically adjusts to display and validate the questions and answers necessary when either an employee or customer is filling the form directly.
At launch, the Smart Form validated all of the gathered information and then simultaneously delivered an encrypted PDF for back-office fulfilment and the itemized digital records for testing with the new adjudication system. When the digital adjudication was ready for production a few months later, the back-office simply started consuming the digital records without the need to re-code or deploy the front-end user experience.
